Baylon Kerr '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Baylon Kerr. I am 6'1, 255 pounds. It is my dream to play football in college because of my love of the game and the brotherhood.  My dad has a disease called RSD which keeps him from what he loves to do. My dad retired after fifteen years in the Air Force so that means I have been all over the country and lived in 5 different states. This has greatly influenced what I believe is important.  What I offer to a team is drive, compassion, and leadership. The way I can bring drive to a team is I never give up no matter what and will keep giving 100 percent no matter if my team is losing.  I am willing to do what is necessary to help the team be successful, even if that means learning a new position.  I bring compassion to a team because what I love to do is play football and I take this sport seriously.  I exhibit leadership because I am the one yelling at the the line to block or getting the team worked up on defense.  The type of school I would like to go to is a medium school in or near a city.  My Cumulative GPA is low because I screwed off my fresman and sophmore year. I realize my mistake and now my GPA is currently a 3.0. My family has financial needs and I will be applying for federal aid, grants, and scholarships. My desired major is Law Enforcement, Criminal Studies, Criminology, or Physical Therapy or Trainer. My goals would be playing as a Freshmen and going to whatever school God takes me to.
