VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2015 - are mainly RB plays, some WR. (This is due to new coaching staff & QB and need for a strong RB.)
VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2014 - are mainly WR plays.
I am a dedicated individual. I try to go "one extra" on everything I do, putting everything I have left into it. I might be from a small town and small school, but I play like I'm from the biggest there is. I am a great leader and have been captain of my football team for 2 years. I am a member of student council and YAK. I participate in many community volunteering programs.
I'm always early for practices and events. I never stop trying to get better and I am very committed. I can be found usually in the weight room, or on the field with a quarterback trying to perfect my footwork and catching abilities. I take practices seriously and every coach that I've played under in all sports have told me that my emotions on the field or court feed the energy of the team. When I'm ready to get serious, everyone is. If I'm having a great game everyone else is.
I am the best wide receiver in Potterville. During my junior year I made "1st team All Conference" and "Honorable Mention" on the "Lansing Dream Team". I had the highest average of yards per carry over my entire team. I play various sports. Primarily football however, Basketball and Track as well.
In Basketball, I am the leading re-bounder and defensive specialist. I have 2 years of Varsity. For Track, I have been 4 years on Varsity and specialize in team sprint relays, long jump and high jump. I have received many medals for Invitationals and Regionals. Prior to my senior year, I have qualified for States as a sophomore and Junior and I anticipate going back during my senior year. I am extremely close in breaking a few school records for track this upcoming year.
There is never a off day for me, or an off-season. Since I'm committed to 2 other sports in high school, I'm always busy. I try my best in the class room. I enjoy many other sports outside of high school. This includes water activities and volleyball.
I realize that my grades have been lacking and I am dedicated to getting those grades up this year. I am retaking the ACT very soon to work on increasing that number as well. I am enrolled in my senior year in classes at the local college for completion of my Fire Science degree and also working a few hours a day doing a coop with the local Fire Department.
