Personal Statement

I would make a great candidate for any college because, I am a natural athlete and I am always striving to do better. I do my best to be a good student and person. I love sports, I don't know what I would do without them. I always do my best in school, academics are very important to me and I work extremely hard to be a straight A student.  As an athlete I am able to take criticism and improve upon what I am doing. I know that there is always room for improvement and I am always ready to listen to suggestions on how I can improve. I am also very coachable.

In football I have the ability to read the field. If I am told to do one play but notice that it isn't going to work I am able to adjust quickly and make the best move. I have been playing football since third grade and have a love for the game. I have always wanted to play football in college and will do whatever it takes to reach that goal and be successful at it when I get there. Many coaches from different schools have told me and have asked me to move to their school to play football and other sports for them. I also love basketball. I have been playing it since 3rd grade and I was picked by a team to play AAU basketball for them in 6th grade. I have played AAU basketball for 4 years now. In my Chicago tournament a Referee called me over to talk to him after my game and he told me I was a great player and that he loved watching me and hopes to see me playing in the next level of basketball. He complimented me and said I was the best player on my team. Then he said to tell my team we were doing good and to keep practicing. When I walked back over to my coaches and teammates and they asked me what he said, I told them all he said was that we are doing good and to keep practicing. I didn't tell them what he said about me because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings because we are a team and I wanted to share the compliment towards my team only because it would increase their confidence.  My team this year 2015 has won Michigan's state basketball tournament and we won the AYBT National tournament.
