Personal Statement
I am a dual-sport athlete with the goal of becoming a collegiate student-athlete. I have for as long as I can remember dreamed of playing football at the next level. I have worked hard in the weight room, practice, and in the classroom to help myself turn that dream into a reality. This past season I was named to the Associated Press All State Team as an Honorable Mention Running Back. I rushed for 1326 yards and 14 TDS. I also had 13 catches for 132 yards. I contributed on special teams and defense as well with a kickoff return for an 89yd TD, 48 tackles (30 solo), 4 INTS, 1 sack, and a fumble recovery.
I strive to be the best I can be in the classroom as well. I currently have taken multiple honors classes and have a 3.96 GPA. Along with this as a leader in the school, I have been selected to participate in a program called LINKS. LINKS is designed to help students with special needs by giving them an advocate that can be there for them and help them with their struggles inside and outside of the classroom. This program has taught me how to communicate with many different types of individuals and how to help problem solve quickly when facing adversity.
