Justin Mills '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name is Justin Mills. I am 6' 1" tall and weigh 190 pounds.  I have played varsity football since my sophomore year and was voted team captain as a junior by the team.  As a sophomore, I was a starting safety on defense and played receiver on offense.  As a junior and senior, I was the starting quarterback and starting safety.  My junior year and senior year, as captain, I lead by example, but I can be a vocal leader as well.  I believe the best way to lead is by example and that's what I try to do every day.  I have a pure love for the game of football, which makes me willing to do everything I need to do to play at a higher level.


Ever since I was a little kid I loved the game.  I love the passion, the work, and the competition that comes with the sport.  I also love it because football isn't just a team sport, it's a family sport.  Every single guy that I play with I consider to be my brother who I would do anything for.  Playing college football has been a life long dream of mine.  I want to be part of your team, and I am willing to do everything that I can to help make the team and myself better.  I thought I proved that to everyone this year by literally never coming off the field.  I played on kick off, kick return, punt, punt return, defense, and offense.  I love to hit, run, throw, just literally every part of the game.  I can't even begin to say how excited I am to have the opportunity to play at the next level.


I want to be in the field of Anesthesiology after college, so I'll be looking to get my Bachelor's degree in nursing then move on to receive my Masters in Science to become a Nurse Anesthetist.  With the opportunity to play at the college level, I will do whatever it takes to be an important part of this team.  I can guarantee you I'll give everything I have on the field as well as in the classroom.  My goal is to be an important contributor to a winning football program at the college level.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I truly appreciate your consideration and hope to hear from you soon!
