Chad Moore '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2", 180lbs student athlete with an unofficial forty time of 4.7 that is positioned at the WR spot for the Shelby Tigers.  Last year I had 25 receptions and they went for a total of 553 yards, with 22.12 yards a catch!  Nine of those 25 catches ended up being TDs!  I helped the team accomplish some great goals last year, including; beating the raining state champs Montague Wildcats, beating the Whitehall Vikings for the first time in 20 years, being conference champs for the first time since 2002, and going to playoffs for the first time since 1987!!  My most important accomplishment in Varsity Football would have to be getting the Most-Improved Player of the year, because I didn't start off the year to "hot" but I ended a lot stronger.  So I was just really overwhelmed when Coach Lorenzo Rodriguez called me up in front of all of the parents and players, and told me that I earned that award.  That wasn't the only award that I got last year, I also received All-Area Honorable Mention WR.  That was a huge accomlishment too!  There are some key things that I can bring to the table for a lot of teams.  Most teams would like to have a guy that gives his all on and off the field.  My grades can speak for themselves when it comes to academics.  I try my best in the classroom and on the field!  Another thing that I can bring is the dedication and the drive to be the best!  I will not settle for the low goals that I set before the season kicks off, but I will strive to the top!  I have all different types of motivators that help me keep that drive going.  Whether its from the extrinsic motivators to the instrinsic motivators, I will push and push until myself and the team are at the top of the potential that God has given us to use!!  Personally, I have no clue where I would like to go to college, I just want to go somewhere that is really wanting me to play for them and that will push me and make me excel!  One thing that is kind of important to me is that, I would really like to stay in the state of Michigan but if that can't work out, I would like to stay within a state or two from it.  The type of school that I'm looking forward to going to, would be a school of any size or division, decent standard for academics, and that it is primarily a Christian college.
