Ty Norgren '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal after high school is to play football at the collegiate level while working to earn my college degree.  
What makes me a good candidate for your team? I am a hardworking, self motivated leader that loves a challenge and the process of leading a team to victory and meeting our desired goals.  I put my heart and soul out on the field, as I always strive to bring my personal best on and off the field at all times. 

In my freshman year at Trenton High School (2019), I competed against a sophomore to earn the starting quarterback position for the Junior Varsity team with a 6-3 record, finishing the season with 22 passing TDs and 5 rushing TDs and I also played linebacker.  In my sophomore year, I competed for the starting varsity QB position against a junior who was the varsity backup QB the year before.  In my first varsity game, I started the first game at linebacker and played QB in the 4th quarter completing a pass for the only touchdown of the game.  I started at QB the rest of the 2020, 2021 & 2022 seasons.  

I just closed out my senior season (2022) leading my team to play in the Division 3 Regional Championship game after winning the District 3 Championship and the Downriver League Championship.  Trenton beat all opposing teams in the Downriver League this season.

45/98 757 passing YDs 11 TD’s

Total: 1917 Yards 25 TD’s
