My name is Quanelle Pritchett. I am a 16 year old junior at Fitzgerald High School in Warren, Michigan.I am a 5’10 160 pound WR, with a 315 max out deadlift, a 315 max out squat, and a 200 max out bench press. I run a 4.6 40 yard dash. I have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and I am a honors student and a member of my schools student concil. My life has been a truly, humbling journey to get to where I am now in life. I have gone through trials and hardships growing up that could have broken the average person. I chose to take my unfortunate experiences and use them as fuel to push myself to do my best and be a great man. When I was a baby my father was murdered on the streets of Detroit. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I felt the effects of growing up without a father. I had to learn to do many things on my own. I wasn’t old enough to feel the pain of not having a dad during my adolescence, but as I step into manhood I feel such a tremendous loss now. Growing up, my rock was my mother. She worked tirelessly, making sure my sisters and I had everything we needed and wanted. At an early age she embedded in me the importance of a true relationship with GOD, manners, respect, family loyalty, and hard work. I am honored to call her my mother. I fell in love with sports from playing a lot of video games as a kid but I wasn't really good at any. As a child I played tackle football for the Westside Rams and also played basketball for Team Jordan at the Warren Recreation Center. Sadly, I was terrible. I did not have anyone to take the time out to teach me and help build my skill, but I never gave up. As I grew I began to reach out to my uncle for help about sports and things I needed a male’s perspective on. It was pretty difficult because he lived in Tennessee. My uncle moved back to Michigan my freshman year to help me get through high school the right way. He has been a major help and I have learned plenty from him. My journey is not done yet; it's just the beginning, but I still have a long way to go. I want to be a professional football player and go to a Division 1 college. I know the decisions I make now will affect my future. I work hard to maintain above a 3.7 gpa in school and continue to give my all to my football team, coaches and teammates. My number one priority is to excel at being a better version of myself. By keeping my grades up, following the direction and guidance of those leading me, always respecting myself, and doing my best, I am ready for the next phase in life. Thank you for your time if anyone wants to reach me my information will be below, and also a link to my highlights will be provided as well, Have a blessed day.
