Personal Statement
I believe that I would be a good addition to your team because I have the drive and desire to get better. I wasn't handed a spot on varsity my freshman year I had to work for it, I worked hard enough that my sophomore year my coach gave me a chance. The chance I had really didn't turn out the way I wanted or my team wanted. The first game of my sophomore season I broke the ulna in my arm in half, I had surgery the next month and had to sit out the majority of the season. My junior year I came back stronger than ever leading the team in tackles and tackles for a loss, along with that I was named the defensive captain at middle linebacker. My arm is stronger and does not hinder me at all anymore, in fact I believe that it is stronger. Along with my athletics I also take school very seriously. I believe that a good education is important. What makes me different than other recruits is that I am fighter and I will strive to get better with the process.
