Personal Statement
My plan at this point is to obtain a degree that will help me pursue a career in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement.
I believe what makes me a good athlete for you to consider is not only will I do everything you think I need to do to improve, but I will also do my best to encourage my team mates to do the same. I know this is a team sport and the whole team needs to work together.
I was adopted at the age of 11. I have worked hard to show that my first 10 years do not define what my future will be. I think that has helped to show me what hard work and determination can do.
I love basketball and 6 years ago I thought that would be a pretty important part of my future, and then I played football for the first time as a 7th grader. To say that I love football would be a huge under statement. I have played varsity since 9th grade. I spend not only the school year, but the summer, as well, in the weight room staying in shape. I will go over game film with my coach until we are both fairly certain we have gone over everything I could have done better, then I will watch it several more times on Hudl. I am not happy until I am sure I have done everything I can do to be my best.
