I learned the value of hard work and responsibility at an early age from working on our beef/crop farm and being a laborer for my family's construction company. This has not only benefited me physically, but also instilled a great work ethic which I look forward to applying throughout my college years and adult life.
I started playing football in elementary school and have enjoyed attending several football camps over the last decade. My varsity experience began as a freshman on special teams, and expanded to full time starting offensive lineman my sophomore season due to my strength and ability to learn plays quickly. These traits allowed me to play both sides of the ball my Junior season as a starter for the offensive line and starting defensive end. My passion is on defense as I absolutely thrive on creating turnovers. I'm only 6'2", but what I lack in size, I more than make up for in strength and ambition.
A few of my accomplishments include both the 2018 and 2019 seasons for the All-District award, the Jaguar Lineman MVP, Jaguar defense MVP(2019), and the Jaguar award. The Jag award is decided by the players to the teammate who best represents the school on and off the field. In addition, I also was voted practice player of the year in basketball for the 2018-2019 season by my fellow teammates.
It has been my goal to play college football since I was in elementary after my first season. I'm looking for a school where I can become successful in my pursuit of a degree in either physical therapy, athletic training, or master electrician while contributing my talent and determination on the field. I believe I have the ability to play at the next level and I have the drive and work ethic to take the steps I need in order for the team to succeed.
