Right before my freshman year I dislocated my right shoulder and tore my labrum and I had to get surgery to repair it. Overcoming the loss of strength in my arm was difficult but I did everything I could to get back on the field stronger than ever my sophomore year. Losing out on 1 of my 4 years of high school football was a big problem in my mind at the time. I think my mental game is almost as strong as my physical game.
I strive to better myself and my teammates in any way possible.
Confidence is key, but not too much.
My favorite quote is “Football is like life. It requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.” – Vince Lombardi.
I would like to get a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and be a registered nurse if football does not work out.
