Michael Warren '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Warren and I will be the hardest working player on your team!  I have made a promise to myself and to my coaches that I will never quit on any play and since I am a man of character I take that commitment seriously.  I have been described as a player who not only plays with his head but with his heart.  

I am a 6'5" 270 pound defensive end from Providence Acdemy in Plymouth, MN. I have played on the Providence varsity team for 4 years, beginning as an 8th grader and starting both sides of the ball since my freshman year.  During my sophomore year, I earned all conference honorable mention.  And my goal for my junior year will be to receive All Conference 1st team.  I have a 3.5 GPA at a very rigourous college preapartory high school. 

I am a 3 letter varsity athlete, competing in football, basketball and track and field.

Academics, athletics and atmosphere are my priorities in considering where I want to attend college.  I want to excel not only in the classroom but also on the field on Saturday afternoons in front of an enthusiastic crowd.  Hard work, dedication and determination are words that decribe my work ethic therefore, I believe I could successfully contribute to any team.
