Personal Statement
I began playing football when I was 8, and from there I knew it was something that I love. I always try to push myself to the limit whether in the weight room or on the field. I always do that one extra rep and that one extra sprint. I hit hard, execute plays and love to compete. I push myself hard because I know I have what it takes to play at the next level. I just want the opportunity to show coaches what I have to offer. I know I will be able to play football in college. What I really want is to play for a great school where I'm surrounded by good people who will push me to be better on the field and in the classroom.
Besides my physical ability, I am a good role model to not only my teammates, but my nephew and cousin. I was taught to always put school before football, and I do that by challenging myself by taking AP classes, and getting help from teachers when needed. I am not a straight A student but I'm a good student and I know I will succeed in college. I have always tried to do my best in the classroom to make sure I would be ready to attend college and ready to have college coaches ask about my grades.
I just love the game of football.
