Personal Statement
Ever since I was a child playing peewee and watching college football, I knew then and there that is what I want to do. At first I wanted to play peewee football because my older brother did, but as time went by year after year I felt much more in love for the game. I just loved every part of the sport, the feeling of the rush it gives me on the field, and the feeling of a big hit on the field. Playing football has taught me a lot about myself, and what i can physically and mentally do. It has taught me never to give up or let up on what i can do, that is whether it is on the football, weight room, or in the classroom. Also, it has taught me I can do way more than what I actually think I can do.
I would say one of my academic goals are to be in honors classes and have all A's and do the best I can do either on a test or paying attention in class. Also, for college my plan, for any college that offers me, in academics are to stay focused and do what I am doing in high school, but a little harder. I have had to overcome obstacles in my life like when I used to hate running and working out, but I learned that it’s part of the game and I have enjoyed it because of the results I’m getting from it. As of this day I am still going through obstacles like I'm not the average height of a defensive end, I’m not that tall, and I get that but my heart and what i can do is way taller that what I actually am. I think a unique characteristic that I posses is that I am very very competitive in what I do and I love proving people wrong in what they think I can't do. Also, I have that high motor to be the best at everything. Also, for any of the colleges that looks at me or even recruits me just know that you are looking at or recruiting someone that gives it all on the line on and off the field. Also, I will be interested in all college types.
