John Ellis Murrah '20 Recruiting Profile

   My goal is to attend college and obtain a degree in accounting all while being able to give my best to my team. I would be a good candidate for any team because I am self motivated and dedicated to excellence.  I work hard on my own to be the best kicker I can be, but I also work well with the team to accomplish our goals. The traits instilled in me as an Eagle Scout set me apart form other recruits. The scout law says, "A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent." I apply these attributes to every aspect of my life.  Also, any good scout knows that you should always be prepared. I firmly believe these traits are the keys to success in sports and life.
