Personal Statement
When I go to college, I plan to major in medical genetics. I would like to proceed in cancer research an hopefully one day cure it. There are two things that I believe separates me from other recruits. First off is my work ethic on and off the field. The two quotes I live my life by are, "today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't." -Jerry Rice and, "success is uncommon. That is why the common man will never enjoy it." -Tony Dungy. I work hard in the classroom and in my studies so I can do well on ACT test to get to college. I watch hours of film on opponents to prepare and know what my opponent will do before they do. I fear no opponent based on size or reputation. I enjoy playing the best because it brings out the best in me. Last but not least is this, I hate losing more than I love winning. Everyone likes to win. I'd rather be surrounded by guys who hate losing, than love winning. It makes you dig a little deeper, try even harder, and give more than you thought you could. After all, to never lose, is to always win.
