Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to find a college where I can excel in both academics and sports, by succeeding in the classroom and playing an active leadership role on the field.
I am the ideal candidate for your program because:
- I am constantly working to better myself either in the weight room during condition or by working with my personal training during the offseason to make sure I am in peak condition throughout the year;
- I try to encourage my teammates so they can be at the top of their game too; and
- I always give 100% effort no matter what both on and off the field.
What sets me apart from other recruits is:
- My education is a top priority and that is reflected in graders (3.4 GPA and 22 ACT in 8th grade);
- In the offseason I also participate in track and field to stay in prime shape;
- I am very fast and strong for my age and size;
- I pick up on team schemes quickly on both defense and offense;
- I keep an even head when faced with troublesome or difficult problems; and
- I am naturally outgoing, like meeting new people and want to make sure everyone feels welcomed.
