My name is Jobe Edwards, I have been active in football since I was 4 years old, starting in flag football. I love the game! My dream has always been to go further than high school football and playing college ball or even playing pro ball. My family is very involved and supportive of everything I do.
I carry a 3.6 grade point average or higher, academics are just as important to me as playing football. I am very competitive and have a winning mentality. I work hard to achieve success in everything I do. I enjoy being a leader and a team player! I think lifting people up rather than putting them down is very important. I am a very easy person to get along with and believe that we have to work hard as a team to have a successful team.
I am also active in varsity track as well. I have qualified for state in 110 hurdles, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay and 4x800 relay. I medaled my junior year, getting sixth in state as a team in the 4x200 relay.
Being in the outdoors and enjoying the natural areas has always been an interest of mine. I want to major in a biology field, preferably marine or wildlife. I enjoy hunting and fishing when not focused on football and academics because these things help me get away from daily worries and stress.
