Dear Prospective Coach/Staff:
My name is Landon Carson. I am a 6'1" 315lb Football Player. As a sophomore, I was listed as “The Most Powerful Eagle Pound for Pound” in May 2021. I am the leader in most weight room metrics for all athletes in all grades. In the 21 off season, I have also become the fastest person over 300lb in our own school as well as the early season camps in 21 and rank top 12 overall lineman on Ryzer May 2021 and #6 in Missouri. So far, I started and played both Defense and Offence and played nearly every down since my first padded football game in the first grade. Following a head coach transition for my Sophomore year, and I have been blessed and started as Nose Guard every game since. In my 2020 season I was an All Conference Honorable Mention for tackles and had an interception. I have also won “Iron Eagle” 3 times over the season. I was also selected as team MVP in 2017 and 2018 where we finished 7-0 with a near shut out season allowing only 6 points on the entire season. I have gained a lot of experience not only playing school football, but also playing one or two club teams every year. For fall 21 I have played in or assistant coached 22 complete seasons and have never cut a season short or anything less than passion for my sport win or lose. I am hoping to play OL/DL in College where I can be an asset to the team.
My main attributes are my strength, work ethic, and my extensive experience as I have dedicated my life to the sport of football. Of course I have a strong desire to win and learn. I really feel at home hitting on the field as well as in the weight room. I have been a leader and winner in these areas most all of my life. I am a person that is strong in my faith, of good moral character and I expect to receive my Eagle Scout later this year. I know that I will make a good addition to the right School's football program and overall community. Community service has also been a strong part of my life through Boy Scouts of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Nixa High Leadership Council. I continue to volunteer for NEST (special needs children), Ozarks Football League, and various programs at our school.
Thank you for your consideration.
