Personal Statement
It has always been a dream of mine to play college football. I am a 6'4", 240lbs (6'2" 210 Junior Yr., 6'0" 185 Soph Yr) linebacker / defensive end / fullback / tight-end/ long snapper from O'Fallon, MO. This is a suburb of St. Louis. I have played on the St. Dominic High School varsity team over the past three seasons and earned a starting position my junior year. I started every game at linebacker last season, leading the team in tackles. I lead the team in tackles again this season and earned a position on the 1st team All-Conference, All-District, 3rd team All-State,and to the Academic All-State team. I was also named the AAA Conference Defensive Player of the Year. I have enjoyed each season of my high school career. I am now preparing myself for college football. I believe that my work ethic and desire to play this game separates me from others and would make me a great fit for any college. I currently have a 3.89 GPA and I would like to attend a college with a solid academic reputation. Ideally, my athletic opportunity would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. However, I do understand that I may have to redshirt my freshman year to have the greatest impact on the field. I plan to work hard over the next several months to make my dream a reality.
