I have been actively involved in football since the age of 6. In second grade I decided I wanted to play college football, and have worked hard to achieve this goal: I have attended college camps for the last 5 years, have put in extra time in the weight room after school and practice, have helped organize after school and weekend practices with teammates in the off-season, as well as participating in wrestling in the winter and track in the spring for extra conditioning. I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 13, and was elected Senior Patrol Leader more than once. Academically, I have maintained a 3.9 GPA in primarily advanced classes. My junior year I earned entry into college level classes. I am confident I can compete both physically and academically at the collegiate level, and will prove myself an asset to any prospective football program.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Johnathan Martin
