I hate to lose! I am extremely competitive however, I am not a sore loser to my competitors. I am hardest on myself and I usually feel as if I let my team down. I have always loved sports even before I begged my parents to let me start playing football when I was six. I would play a sport and when done roll right into the next sport with as many of my football teammates as possible. We played flag & tackle football, baseball, basketball, and even a kickball team together. I have been described by most coach's I have played for as a winner and a competitor. Since starting high school I started as the junior varsity QB as a freshman and got some snaps on varsity in games as a freshman. I competed as a varsity wrestler and I started for varsity track as a freshman making districts in 4x1, 4x2, & 4x4 relay and as a long jumper jumping 19'6" as a freshman. I was the starting QB as a sophomore leading our team to our first successful season since 2015 going 10-2. Due to COVID 19, my sophomore track season has not happened. I set goals to qualify for state in two of relays 4x2 and 4x4 relay and long jump trying to reach 22' as my goal. I also plan on breaking a 36 yr old record for our school jumping more than 23'5" currently held by Kevin Jackson alumni of Affton who I have met and introduced myself and let him know I plan on breaking his record he was gracious and offered advice. I want to compete at the highest levels state in high school and as a collegiate athlete and see where it goes from there. I want to get a degree in education so as to be able to coach high school football as my career.
