Personal Statement
One of my favorite football players to ever play was Walter Payton. One of my favorite quotes he said was,"Never Die Easy". Walter worked hard on the field throughout his career, and when faced with adversity he set an example to never give up, keep moving forward, and do not let anything get in your way. This was his mission in life and his advice; and I live by his advice every day in my athletics, academics, and life. Football has taught me the importance of determination, learning from adversity, hard work, and undying passion, and camaraderie. As a teammate I go and play for the guy next to me and go as hard as I can every play. As long as I can remember football has meant everything to me. It has changed me in many ways and it has made me a harder worker and better person. I have been playing football since the first grade and I haven't stopped since. One of my biggest dreams is to play college football at the highest level, through hard work and dedication I believe it is possible. This next year being a senior captain I want to lead my team to a state championship title. I challenge myself both on and off the field to do my best in academics, athletics, and volunteering. Football has taught me to be determined, hard working, dedication to succeed, and when doing something I apply myself 100% to it.
