Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to do well in my studies and succeed in my college football career. My love for football started when I was in the seventh grade. Since my town is so small they didn't have a program for any younger football teams. I have played the quarterback and safety positions since day one. I was on the varsity team my freshman year and started quarterback my sophomore year. This has developed my good leadership skills on and off the field. I think that attitude is important as well as giving every play or rep 100%.
I am an all around athlete competing in not just football but baseball, basketball, and track as well. I have been on three state championship baseball teams in the last five years. I have also placed in the top ten in my first year of throwing javelin at state. What sets me apart from my peers is my determination and my leadership skills. I believe this is why I would be a good candidate for a college team. My character is very humble and I do my best to always motivate my teammates. I am excited and look forward to an opportunity to play college football.
