On August 17, 2020 I verbally committed to play football for the Montana State University Bobcats starting in the fall of 2021.
Twitter: @kennetheideniv . My name is Kenneth W. Eiden, IV. I am a senior at Bozeman High School in Bozeman, Montana. I have a 3.98 cumulative GPA. I am 6' 1", weigh 230 lbs, and my best 40 yard dash time of 4.72, hand scored, was at North Dakota State University on July 26 2019. My best lasered 40 yard dash time was 4.87 at the Nike Opening Combine in Oakland, CA on May 10, 2019. Also, at the Nike Opening Combine I ran a laser timed 5-10-5 time of 4.09 sec, and tossed the Power Ball 42.5 feet. My Football Rating was 118.50, the 2nd highest score that day, which puts me in the top 99th percentile of Opening Combine athletes tested. At the Nike Opening Regional on May 11th, 2019, I jumped 32.2" for my vertical jump. My rating at the Regional was 110.16 which was 17th out of all athletes at the Regional, and 3rd out of all OL & DL athletes.
In June 2019 at The Verified Combine by The Pitt Training Center in Bozeman, MT I had a personal best Vertical Jump of 36" and another personal best in the L-Drill 3 Cone Shuttle with 6.80. My Wingspan measured 74.5" and I did 18 reps at 185 lbs. in the Bench Press.
I play tight end, defensive end, running back, h back, and slot. I have competed at The Nike Opening Combine, The Nike Opening Regionals Camp/Combine, four FBU Camps, one FBU Top Gun Showcase and have received Top Gun invites 4 years in a row as well as an invite to the FBU Texas Showdown, May 2018. I attended NextGen's The Show in Denton, TX in 2017, the Clemson University High School football camp in 2017 & 2019, and the Montana State University High School Teams camp 2018 & 2019. In 2018 I was named to the NextGen Fab 50 list and received an invite to NextGen's The Show in June 2018. I went as a tight end to the Stanford University Skills Camp June 2018 and the Oklahoma State University skills camp July 2018. I have been invited to The 2019 & 2020 National Combine at The All-American Bowl at the Alamo Dome, Jan. 2019 and 2020. The summer of 2019 I attended the Wisconsin Badgers football camp as an OLB on June 9, 2019, the Clemson University Camp as a TE on June 11-13, 2019, the University of Iowa camp as an OLB on June 23, 2019 and the North Dakota State University Invite Only camp on July 26, 2019 as a DE, LB, TE/FB.
On November 22, 2019 my Bozeman Hawks Football team won the Montana AA State Football Championship!!!!!!!!!
In both 2018 & 2019 I was named to the Montana Class AA 1st Team All-State Selections List, as well as the 1st Team All-Conference List, and also earned Academic All-State honors in both football 2018 and 2019, and basketball 2019. I was named the MT AA Defensive Most Valuable Player for 2019 and All Conference Defensive MVP also. I also earned my Academic Letter in October 2018 and plan to earn a new pin each semester of high school for the Project Excel program at my high school for top grades.
In addition to football, I have also played both local and AAU travel basketball for seven seasons. I made the varsity basketball team as a sophomore and on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 I was the 2nd highest scorer and top rebounder on varsity for our game vs. Billings Senior. And then, on March 9, 2019, we won the Montana AA State Basketball Championship - amazing experience!!!!!! I am on Varsity again this winter - 2019 -2020 - as the only junior starting, jersey #32.
In addition to football and basketball, I played club lacrosse for six seasons and two summers with the Bozeman Lacrosse League. I play center mid fielder/face off. I made the varsity squad in 2018 as a freshman, and we won the State Championship on May 20, 2018!!! That was a great day!!
I can offer a team someone who tries to get the best out of everyone. I understand that without the other ten guys on the field, or four guys on the court, I would have no success at all. I play team sports and the chemistry among the entire team is the key to success. I always strive to be the best through hard work, maximum effort, a positive attitude, and focus. My father’s favorite quote is “Attitude and effort equal everything!”.
I don’t have any particular colleges I would like to attend at the moment, although I am interested in studying business, engineering, or marketing and I would like a school that has excellent programs in those fields of study, a successful football program. My main goal at this point is to play at the DI A, or AA, level at a school that has a medium to large student body, and a strong business or engineering program. I am comfortable attending whichever school will give me the best opportunities for success both academically and athletically, and will allow me to make a positive impact on their team.
