All four years of high school, I was lucky enough to be part of a playoff team. My sophomore year, we lost in the semi-finals after being the one seed all year. The pain of that loss drove me to fine-tune my skills for the next season so that I could start and help my team turn the corner to make it to the state championship. That time is what truly solidified my love for football. The following year we made it to the state finals. I loved every snap, every hit, and every moment on the field. My senior year, however, I was left feeling unfulfilled after losing in the first round of the playoffs. I realized I had not reached my full potential yet. I am looking for a school that will help me reach my full potential on and off the field.
In my four years of high school football, I was taught many important lessons. How to be part of a team, how to push myself to get better, how to commit to be successful, and how to be a leader. Along with that I know I have the skills, drive, and discipline to play at the collegiate level and be a leader on your team.
