I don't just have a goal to play college football, I have a plan. I continue to look for ways to improve my athleticism by being a multi-sport athlete. The skills and comprehensive thinking that you learn by playing a variety of sports is invaluable. I feel that my innate passion for competition and excellence prepares me for playing football at the next level.
I am a competitor. I use this trait to push myself to achieve my goals in all aspects of my life. Sometimes being competitive is viewed as a bad trait; however, I find that this quality pushes me to keep working towards excellence and not necessarily just winning. I don't always win, per se, but I do still learn from each opportunity. Learning to manage my emotions and the frustrations that result from a variety of different scenarios keeps me focused on improvement. I try to approach all aspects of winning or losing with a positive attitude. Learning to accomplish this skill is vital for all aspects of life. Therefore, I think that my competitive nature is likely an attribute that will be beneficial well into my future on and off the field.
I value work ethic. People that are self-motivated and aren't afraid to put forth the effort that is required to be successful are something that I am drawn to in others. And I personally strive for in my daily life. Another component of the work ethic is positivity. You can have a strong work ethic, but if you don't approach challenges with a positive attitude, it can lead to a decrease in morale or performance, especially in team atmospheres.
When asked about my strong attributes, I would say that I am a committed individual. I like to work hard, play hard, and learn new things. I am a natural hustler, and my drive for self-improvement encompasses many aspects of life. I am a team player and like to see my teammates succeed in their goals and support their visions and dreams. When considering my faults, I would say that I often lose focus on things that don't push or challenge me towards excellence. Also, I have had to learn the lessons associated with patience, which is not an easy task for an individual that is competitive and has high self-expectations by nature.
I am motivated and ready to be a part of your team, so check out my profile and current videos. But remember to follow me because in the next two years I am going to be on fire and I am committed to my goal of playing college football!
