My goal to play college football has been inside of me since my earliest memory. My dad played on the '94-'95 National Championship team for the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I have been going to college games my whole life, and watching on TV every moment I can. I love the game! When my dad talks about being a student athlete I know it's something I want to experience. I know it is not easy, but I know it is worth it.
I feel that I would be an asset to a college team because I give everything I do 100%. I work hard in the classroom and the weight room. I believe my coaches would say that I push myself and am a leader on the team. I believe my teammates respect me for the extra work I put in and because I am a team centered player. I think both coaches and teammates would say that I have a high moral compass and that I make sure that the people I'm around and the events I attend are in line with that. My parents have instilled in me that living a life above reproach is the most important thing that I can do.
If given the opportunity to play at the college level I promise I will be an asset to my coach and team.
