Travis Boman '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in the middle of my senior year at Coronado High School, Henderson, Nevada. .  My goal is to play major college football and get a great education. 

My senior season was cut short by an injury.  I suffered  a non displaced fracture of the cuneiform bone in my foot and was in a boot for 5 weeks.  I only played 4 games my senior season.  Nevertheless, I was named the #2 tight end prospect for Nevada by NevadaPrep Report/Rivals.com

My foot healed completely and I am currently starting for the third consecutive year for my varsity basketball team.  I average about 10 rebounds/game.

My junior football season (2014) I was named to the All Region/All Division First Team.  I was named Offensive MVP for my team, which finished first in our division and third in regionals.  I led the Las Vegas area in total receptions among large schools this season. As a junior I was again named Defensive MVP for my varsity basketball team, as well as Second Team all Region.  We went undefeated in league play.  

As a sophomore I competed at the varsity level in football, basketball, and volleyball.  I was a starter for each one of these teams and we qualified for the playoffs in these three sports. I was named most valuable defensive player for my basketball team, and named First Team All Region/All Division in volleyball

I am athletic and coachable.  I am a fierce competitor.  I believe with my skills and hard work I can beat the opponent across from me.  

I take my academics very seriously.  Last three semesters I finished with a 4.0 with all Honors classes.  My current GPA is 3.9.  My ACT score is a 25.  I plan on attending dental school and becoming an endodontist.

I am active in my church and am an Eagle Scout.

I have always wanted to play Division I football and will work to achieve my goal.  Thank you for your consideration.
