Personal Statement
The highlight of my career so far is my freshman team being regional champions. However, I feel that I grew as a student-athlete the most when, in 8th grade, my football team lost to our rivals in the championship. We put in a lot of hard work and dedication in the offseason by going to a team-building camp, watching film, and having extra practices in the summer. This experience gave me the opportunity to grow as an athlete and person, as well as giving me the dedication and mind-set to become the best wide receiver I can be.
One compliment I get from my coaches, no matter what sport, is that I am very coachable and have a great work-ethic. Not only am I a hard worker in games, practice, and in the weight room, I am also a hard worker in the classroom. I try to get the best grades I possibly can and do so by getting my homework done and studying for tests. I want to go to a college program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I feel that I can bring dedication, perseverance, intangibles, and leadership to any college program willing to give me an opportunity.
