Personal Statement

My life is centered around playing college football. It is my life's goal.  Every day I work in the gym, on the field and in the classroom towards achieving that goal.   I know I have the talent to make a difference at the next level.  I am a 6'2 195lb quarterback, class of 2019 with a 4.2 GPA.  I play for the most dominate program in the region with 10 straight regional championship appearances. Reed High School is perpetually ranked among the top 2% in the country.  My journey so far has been met with challenges.  As a Freshman I set school passing and touchdown records on our 9-0 Junior Varsity team.   I am the only player who was brought up to Varsity as a Sophomore.  My Junior season, our program experienced a complete change in our coaching staff and because the unexpected change, our new coaches was left short staffed.  Last season I became the on-field offensive coordinator, play caller while I backed up the returning All-Region and All-Time school passing leader.    Our team still won the Regional Championship and once again faced Bishop Gorman in the state title game.

Next season I will be the starting quarterback at Reed High School.   I will once again, as I have my entire life, complete against one of the top quarterbacks in the country,  Damonte Ranch's five star quarterback Cade Macnamera.    My goal is to lead my team back to the state championship and beat out the Gatorade Player of the Year and become Nevada's first team All-State quarterback.

I have not had the opportunity to completely showcase my abilities at the Varsity level yet because of the challenge I have faced with the late coaching change over and the returning talent.  The experience has made me work even harder.  My drive is unrelenting. I am a better player, teammate and athlete because of it.  I will open eyes this upcoming season.
