Mark Chaney Jr '16 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'0 290lb student-athlete Sophmore who plays DT & LT at Delsea Regional Highschool in Franklinville, NJ. I've always wanted to be successful on and off the football field. Ever since I was 7 years old I've been playing football, and I fell in love. My freshman year I played at Vineland Highschool and started Varsity as a freshman, so I've been playing since I was a freshman (14 years old). After my year at Vineland Highschool. I moved over to Delsea Regional Highschool. I love it over here at Delsea & enjoy playing Sports at Delsea. Since starting as a freshman I have never missed a game or any practice. I am dedicated to off season training and weight lifting and training during the season. If given the opportunity to play football at a college with good academics I will continue to put my heart in the classroom, the weight room , practice field, and game field, just like I do now in high school. I play for one of the most successful programs in NJ (12 State Titles since 1974) I'm also apart of the 2013-2014-2015 THREE TIME South Jersey Group 3 State Champions. I put everything I got in every practice, lifting, and games. Hard work pays off. It is a dream of mine now, to play football on Saturday afternoons, and eventually, hopefully one day, on Sundays as well. All I ask for is an opportunity and I promise to make the most of that opportunity both on and off the football field.
