Tyler Coulbourn '11 Recruiting Profile

Tyler ( Ty) Coulbourn: I am an athlete. What I hear most when others describe me is my self discipline and leadership ability and my speed. (The local newspaper calls me "John Rambo in waiting..."if speed does indeed kill, then Coulbourn is John Rambo in waiting!" I am available to play any position... and have played many. I do not have a preference geographically when it comes to going to college and will go where there is an opportunity for me to contribute. I want to play football at the next level and I want to play for a coach and coaching staff that can make me a better player. I have worked hard. I am proud of my reputation as a dedicated team mate that leads on & off the field and can be depended on & off the field too. Winning awards and being fetured in the newspaper is good but being Captain of the team and knowing I have the respect of my coaches and teammates is most important to me. Look at my highlight film. I never quit on the play and never will. My primary focus now is to play football at the next level in whatever position I am needed. I am training hard, not just with weights but studying film and studying colleges. I've heard it is not where you start but where you finish. I get that but maybe where you start determines where and how you will finish. I hope to start the next phase of life getting a great education and being around great coaches and athletes.
