My name is Marquez Antinori. I have been playing football my whole life and it is one of my biggest passions. I am a Junior in Norther Valley Regional at Old Tappan. My goal for college is to be successful in my academic career in order to achieve a masters degree and play college football. The only person in my family that has a masters degree is my father. I plan to follow in his footsteps and do as he did and obtain a masters degree. I plan to do one thing different. I would like to be a big contributer to my college team. My aspiration is to be a happy, successful, role model and make a difference in my community and the world. As impossible as it may sound to some I strive to be one of the top football players at a college football level one day. Hopefully, after that I can make my dream a reality and become a professional football player.
What makes me different from other recruits is my passion, determination and motivation. I feel this way because I am the kind of person that will do whatever it takes on an ethical level to make it to the next level while still keeping my dignity and staying humble. I am a team player, who has good sportsmanship. I care just as much of my success as my teams. Some of my strong characteristic traits are preparation, hard work, determination, confidence, and leadership. I have already figured out in life that one of the keys to success is education and preparation. Preparation is very important if and when opportunity arrives. Hard work always pays off. Failure is not an option. I am very determined to be successful in my academics as well as athletics. I believe the two go hand in hand. As challenging as it can be at times, being confident is very important. Confidence is the companion to success. I believe to be successful you need to be a leader. My mother has always told me to always be a leader and not a follower and to do on to others as you would have them do on to you. I am different athletic wise because where ever you put me on the field to play, I can play that position just as good as my primary position. I also work extremely hard on the field. I put 100% into every single rep in the gym, and every single play on the field. When I am told to do something I do it as best as I possibly can. Always with a good attitude which is always necessary. What separates me in academics is that I strive to do as best as i can. I understand that academics comes first before athletics. I strive to make academics a priority.
