My name is Zuriel Wright. I have three brothers that all play football. I watched two of them grow up and play. I have a little brother who watches me play and shares the same passion. I want to make my family proud and set an example for the ones that come after me. Outside of football I love animals and music. I would like to further my education in biology and someday become a veterinarian. That has always been my dream since I was young. I loved animals way before I could remember. During my free I love to read and write poems. I love the weight room and working on my chest. I love to bench press. During my spare time I do pushups.
I also run track for my school which I have started in sixth grade. I like running with my hair blowing in the wind. I am a sprinter and jumper. My personal record for the high jump is 6'2 and i only 5'6. Though football I have learned to never give up and work your hardest. Someone is always watching. This sport is not to take for granted. It has thought me to be committed to everything and life and how quick things can change. I played Pop Warner and almost made it to Florida but fell three games short. I was apart of a state championship team my sophomore year. My team was doubted by many. We were the under dogs. Playing with the town cheering you on is such a great feeling. I loved playing in Rutgers stadium and being with my football family.
