Personal Statement

I would like to obtain a college education, to better succeed in life as an adult.

I feel I'm a good candidate, and I differ from other players because I play both football & basketball. In my younger years playing football, (age 6-14), I was named to three state All-Star teams, and at age 14 was selected to the AYF National All Star Football team, where our team finished 2nd in the nation.  I have the ability to play & excel in  multiple positions in football, (center, guard, tackle, tight end on offense, end, tackle, linebacker on defense, long snapper on punt & field goal). I obtained my Varsity letter in my freshman year. Recorded 2 sacks, a forced fumble, & fumble recovery during my 1st Varsity start versus Raritan.

I also was selected & played in the Diamond Sports 9th Grade All American game, December 26, 2016 thru January 1, 2017 where we played 2 games & won both. I was selected for Tight End, Linebacker, & Long Snapper.

I have been selected as a Captain of many of the teams because of my will to compete, because I help my team & teammates, and I am a very respectful athlete to all of the coaches I've played for.

I've only started playing basketball in the past 2 years, but being 6'3" at age 14 has given me a great size advantage that has helped me to flourish.

I have also been an honor roll student many times. I enjoy school both the academic & social aspects, but really enjoy the athletic programs in school. I feel I'm a good student, & respectful of my teachers. In a rare move by Donovan Catholic High School, (Freshman rarely honored), I was elected "Unsung Student" for courteous, kind, thoughtful actions to classmates & faculty, or for having risen above & beyond the call of  duty...

Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, hunting, and playing sports with my friends.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
