I've been playing football for Baldwin since I was in 7th grade. The only winning season I've ever had with Baldwin was my 10th grade season and I didn't take much part in it because I was moved up to varsity as a 10th grader for development. However just because I play for a losing organization doesn't mean I can't play! This past season as a Junior I helped my team just by being versatile athlete, I'd help my offense the most by running the ball but if I wasn't running the ball I'd block for another back by playing Fullback, Powerback (the offset Fullback in the formation Power I) and on certain occasions I'd go line up as a Slot Receiver to take a jet sweep or run block. And on defense I primarily played Corner but I also played Safety and Nickelback and in Weeks 1 and 2 I played Outside Linebacker. What makes me different from other recruits is that I know how to overcome adversity. I sprained my ankle early in the season in week 2. That could've taken most of my season but I managed to only miss 3 practices because of that and I missed no games. My ankle injury also limited me to 31 carries on the whole season but I still managed to produce with just 3 or 4 touches a game and on top of that we would be outnumbered in the box every play by 2 or sometimes 3 because we run over 85% of the time and we are weak up front, we had 3 skill players forced to be linemen. Academically I hope to have Physical Education or World History as my field of study. I dream to see myself getting my education and playing football at the best college I possily can go to.
