Personal Statement
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog"- Mark Twain
Hi my name is Christopher Cirino and I play cornerback at Wellington C. Mepham High School in Bellmore, New York. I am in the graduating class of 2021. In essence I live by this quote not only in football, but in all the sports I play. When you see me on the field I may not be the strongest or the biggest player, but not once will you ever see me give up. I make up for this with my speed and smart decision making. Do not get me wrong either, gaining weight and muscle this off season is a main priority. I have been a two year varsity player and next year will make me a three year varsity player. I have fast feet, make quick reactions, can tackle and have good hands. I have gotten stronger and better each year of high school and I plan to keep working at bettering myself.
I have played basketball for my whole life and started lacrosse a last year. My experience in sports has taught to never settle second, sportsmanship, courage, punctuality and ambition on and off the field. I have a 98.5 weighted GPA and will like to pursue a career in business. I currently am taking College Accounting, College Personal and Business Law, and took College Marketing. I am in a club called Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Math Team. I have aspirations of going to great academic school known for business.
Thank You for time and I will love to hear from you in the future.
