Hi and welcome to my profile. My name is Tyler Cumpston and I currently in my senior year of Varsity Football at Delaware Academy in Delhi, NY. I have been a 3-year starter at both Center and Defensive Tackle positions. Defensively I was Third on our team in tackles with 40 tackles and 19 assists my junior year. My team, Delaware Academy Bulldogs, play in the "Section 4 Conference" in the Catskill Region of New York State. As a Sophmore, I was named "Section 4 All Stars" Second Team Center and as a Junior, I was named "Section 4 All-Stars" First Team Center and Defensive Tackle (both press releases are in my profile). I look forward to my Senior year in 2013 as we look to be a huge contender at the state level of the NYSPHSAA. My focus on football is not just during the "In season" but all year round. As soon as my football season ends, my "off season" begins. I dedicate my off seasons to weight lifting, agility training, cardio training, and studying the game of football. I have become a leader both on and off the football field to my fellow Teammates as well as the Underclassmen. Off the football field, I am very active in both school and community. I am a member of various clubs in my school including.... Officer in the Varsity Club, a member of the German Club, and a part-time employee at the local Price Chopper (our local grocery store). I will be traveling to Germany in April of 2013 to take part in our Exchange Student program. I will be studying either Nursing or Engineering in College. My goal, besides my academic studies, is to continue playing football at the Collegiate Level. With my focus, desire, dedication and ability, I will definately be an asset to a College team in the upcoming years. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2014 and I would most definately be interested in discussing with you my abilities and desires of playing football for your team. Thank you for your time and I look forward to speaking to you.
