Luke Anderson '18 Recruiting Profile

    My primary collegiate goal is two fold; the first part of which being getting the best education I can in order to prepare myself for life as a productive and successful member of society post college graduation. The second aspect of my collegiate goal is to pursue my dream of playing the sport I love; football. I consider myself to be a strong candidate for any football team due to several traits. I have an extensive knowledge of the game which enables me to be a smart player on the field. It is my belief that football is largely a game of strategy and mental toughness, not just of brute strength. I am also highly motivated and possess the ability to motivate and encourage my teammates. Being a good team player is something I pride myself on. It is my philosophy to view my teammates as a band of brothers; when one of us succeeds, we all succeed. When one fails, we all fail. This mentality is essential to success on the field, and in life. This attitude is also what I believe, sets me apart from other recruits. Unfortunately, not all teammates are team players, and certainly very few are leaders on the field, like myself. 

    I look forward to being a hard working part of a collegiate team with whom, I can keep perfecting my natural athletic abilities. As well as being a part of an educational institution that will intellectually prepare me for my future.
