I have been playing organized football since I was 6 years old and I can always remember being involved in football. This is my first year competing at the varsity level, and I am starting at offensive tackle. I love football and everything that it represents- team work, pride, hard work, and family. Football is a year long commitment and I dedicate the off season to working out. In the off season, I spend 5 days a week training, along with playing high school basketball. I am also planning on attending as many football camps as possible.
My short term goals as a Sophomore is to be the best offensive lineman on my team, lead by example, and help my school continue its winning tradition by winning another sectional championship. Personally this season, my goal is to be a first team All-League All-Star. I consider myself a well rounded student, taking the same approach with my academics as I do with athletics. My long term goals are to win a state championship and be a first time All-State selection while continuing to prepare myself to play football at the collegiate level.
As far as my future area of study, I am torn between majoring in computer science or physical therapy. Colleges offering those majors, along with a winning tradition in football, are the ones that I am most interested in attending. I am interested in playing football at the highest level that college coaches believe I am capable of playing.
