My goal as a high school student athlete is to continue to work hard in the classroom and on the field for the opportunity to play football at a quality college program. I am a two sport athlete playing basketball and football. I have had the opportunity to play and be coached on some really great TEAMS from early on in grade school all the way up until now in my senior year. I take pride in the fact that I am always prepared both physically and mentally.I have always been coachable and respectful. I am a great teammate.I never want to be outworked. As a sophomore I was given the opportunity to play both varsity basketball and football. I led the team in receptions as a sophomore junior and senior. Sophomore year I made Honorable Mention All League. As a Junior I was named All League, All Conference and was also named to the Journal News Westchester Putnam All Star team.I work hard at all times. I served as captain of the basketball team as a junior and will do the same in my senior year. I will also be a captain in 15-16 for the upcoming football season. In September of 2015, I was named as one of the Super 11 by LOHUD/Journal News. This selection to the Super 11, takes into account the top 11 returning football players in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties, including all public, catholic and private schools. It is an honor to have been selected. I am also the first football player ever selected from Eastchester H.S. I was also selected to the Hudson Valley 100 list of all players in the entire Hudson Valley by MSG Varsity and named as a first team selection to the pre-season all star team at WR. In early November of this year, I was just selected to play in the Section 1 exceptional Senior All-Star game at WR. On November 16th my coach notified me that I have been selected by Section 1 coaches, as All Section, All Conference and All League at WR. In December I was named to the Journal News 2015 First Team Westchester/Putnam All Stars at Wide Receiver. MSG Varsity named me First Team All Section 1 at WR, First Team All Hudson Valley at WR, and I was named MSG 2015 All-Metro Honorable Mention at WR, covering the Tri-State area of N.J, NY, L.I and Conn. Finally, I am honored to be chosen in December as one of the Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Class of 2016 'Golden Dozen" Scholar Athletes. I am very proud of these accomplishments and know that it based on my own personal hard work and perserverance, but I was successful as well because of my teachers, coaches and teammates.I am a leader in the classroom, serve as Secretary on the Student Athletic Council at Eastchester HS and I am a leader on the field of play. I take nothing for granted, am always determined to succeed but realize that life has its highs and lows. I know that I possess the grit and commitment needed to keep things moving forward in the right direction to succeed, both academically and athletically.
