My name is Keith Capuano and I am a 6’4” 200 lb. WR/TE and OLB from Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. I am a two-way starter on the Hastings Varsity Football team, beginning as a Freshman. In my Sophomore year, my highest award rank was All-State Honorable Mention. I was just a few receiving yards short of 900 that year, in addition to 15 total touchdowns in 8 games. I also had 46 tackles and 2 interceptions. My strive for excellence continues in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
College sports used to seem like a fantasy, but I intend to prove my younger self wrong and make college football my reality. I have always been an extremely hard worker and competitor in every sport that I play, whether that's the championship high school game or wiffle ball against my brother in the backyard. I will always do my best to achieve any task a coach may ask of me, regardless of difficulty, I never quit. All of my coaches have always told me that my motor is one of my greatest assets. Leadership is my second most defined character trait behind hard-working. As an 8th grader on the Varsity Basketball team, I would shout out my teammates and correct them because I had earned their respect to take on a leadership role. I believe that all the character traits I have accumulated throughout my athletic career can be a major asset to a college football team, along with my on-field talents.
