Shakeel Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm an athlete who puts God and family first before anything. My parents have taught me to strive to be great in academics and in any competitive sport or sports of my choice. One detail of my life that has influenced who I am was a football game I played with a broken thumb. With my father on the sideline he helped my refocus back into the game because I knew I played a key role on my team. After the injury I recorded 2 picks, four touchdowns, and 5 tackles. I grew my relentless work ethic from striving to make my team better. I work out before and after practice because I want to make me and my team better.

I have learned that opportunities in life are not given to you, yet that I must work hard on and off the field to achieve my future goals. Academically my goals for High School is to maintain a 3.5 grade average or better in my core Honor class. In college I want to achieve a Bachelors degree and work on my masters degree in my field of study.
