I am a senior at Scotia-Glenville High School and have been playing football since I was 5 years old as a Pop Warner flag football player. Playing competitive sports has been an integral part of my life growing up, and I hope to continue to pursue my passion for playing football in college as I pursue a business degree. As a 6’2”, 190 lb senior this year, this is my third year of Varsity football. I play offense (wide receiver), defense (safety), and special teams (kick and punt returns). I also play second-string quarterback. The Scotia football team made it to the playoffs this year, the first time since 1999.
I was awarded (1) New York Section II Southeast Division Offensive Player of the Year and (2) YNN (Your News Now) Schenectady-Albany-Troy Play of the Year. I am also ranked the Number 1 Receiver in all of New York’s Section II high school football by the Times Union, with the following final 2012 stats: 52 receptions, 743 receiving yards, 6 two point conversions, and 14 total touchdowns.
Other football recognition awards I have received include: 2010 Section II Southeast Division, Team 1, Running Back; 2011 Section II Southeast Division, Team 1, Wide Receiver.
