Hello Coach, My name is Eric Weisansal and football is my passion. I have played since I was 8 years old and it has helped get me through many difficult situations in my life. It has taught me to always strive to do my best in every aspect of my life, whether it be my education, athletics or socially. I have consistently been on the Honor Roll and also have recently been chosen for the National Honor Society.
Besides school and football, I enjoy volunteering with elementary school children and with the elderly at nursing homes through a program called Amherst Youth Engaged in Service. I partake in school clubs as well, including German club and DECA business club where I study the German language and practice business situations and compete with them. I was also part of my school's internship program over last summer where I interned at a physical therapy office.
In addition, I've competed on my school's varsity track team since I was a freshman. I'm very active in my school and in the community and strive to be successful in everything I'm involved with.
