Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was twelve years old. Since I first stepped on the football field, I have desired to play at the collegiate level and someday the professional level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity so therefore I want to put in the necessary work that could change my whole life.

I am always working to improve my skills and fundaments as well as training to get faster, bigger, and stronger. I am a team leader who leads by example while also inspiring and encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you will find. I am very humbled to ask questions to improve as well as receiving constructive criticism to correct my deficiencies. My parents, who served honorable in the military taught me discipline and accountability which is rooted in my soul.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer as a team manager on other team sports, tutoring and mentoring students in the classroom, football, and track field. I was also team captain on the football and track teams.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. Also, attend a college where the coaching staff is 100% focused on student athletes in the classroom as well as the football field. I am open to all opportunities and want to eventually find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a significant role model in my community, to all my peers and continue to make my family proud.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
