My name is Cooper Hearn, and I am a 17 year old wide receiver at Myers Park High School. Throughout my educational career, I have consistently held myself to high standards in the classroom. I am currently a member of the National Honor Society, and am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. Aided by my competitive nature, I strive for excellence both on and off the field. I am interested in attending a selective college or university to further my education. Each year I try to give back to the community in a variety of ways through service activities, such as helping out at a local elementary school along with my teammates.
My love for the game of football has been evident ever since I first began playing. Football challenges me in many ways that assist me in the routine challenges of school and life. I enjoy the competitive nature of the game, as well as working with teammates to achieve a common goal. I believe that my participation in football has made me a better person, student, and athlete. My ultimate goal is to reach my full potential in the classroom and on the field, while helping others along the way.
