Personal Statement
Throughout my life, I have always been involved in sports. My collegiate goals and aspiration were rooted by my mom and grandmother who has always been around with good advice. Through them I have made those dreams and goals my own.
I started out playing soccer at age three. In my city Fayetteville, that was the only sport I could play via YMCA for my age group. Then, I transitioned to basketball and flag football at the age of five. Later, I played baseball and wrestled, but my passion has always been football.
I am a good candidate for any collegiate team because I am a hard worker. I have been told by all of my past coaches that I am very coachable. My grades in school speaks volumes for character. Lastly, my ethics and morals make me shine above the rest of my class.
I know every kid inspire to go to the NFL. I also know that the chances of that are pretty slim. I have watched many retired players, become sports commentators. I have so much love for the game that I would like to major in public speaking or something in that arena. My mom has always told me to major in something that I love to do and would do it for free, without pay. Ultimately, working for no pay is not the goal. At any rate, my passion for sports has guided my career choice.
